The date today just looks cool. The CBK has published the bond auction prospectus that will get our 2022 off to an interesting start. Three bonds will be re-opened with the sales split into two auctions. A quick summary of the details below:
- FXD1/2020/5Yr (3.4 years): sale period closes on 04-Jan-2021.
- FXD2/2018/10Yr (7.0 years): sale period closes on 18-Jan-2021.
- FXD1/2021/20Yr (19.7 years): sale period closes on 18-Jan-2021.
- Each auction will have a target of KES 30Bn and attached is the prospectus for all the required details for these auctions.
