The results of this month’s bond auction are out and below is a quick summary of how things went:
- FXD1/2022/10Yr: average of 13.949% on the back of KES 25.619Bn in bids accepted from a total of KES 28.516Bn in bids received
- FXD1/2022/15Yr: average of 13.983% on the back of KES 13.406Bn in bids accepted from a total of KES 17.617Bn in bids received
- Summary: KES 39.025Bn in bids accepted from a total of KES 46.134Bn in bids received. The auction was undersubscribed as the market failed to meet the KES 50Bn target set by the CBK.
