The bond auction results are with us and a quick summary of how things went can be found below:
- FXD4/2019/10Yr (8.0 years): average came in at 12.642% on the back of KES 20.269Bn in bids received, and CBK accepting them all.
- FXD1/2018/20Yr (16.4 years): average came in at 13.366% on the back of KES 20.906Bn in bids received and the CBK accepting KES 17.564Bn.
- The CBK therefore managed to lock in KES 37.827Bn from KES 41.175Bn in bids received.
