Kenya Bond Market Update: 27-Jun-2023

100 Up! – The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the CBK met yesterday in a meeting that fell between the bi-monthly timetable that has been in place. The MPC concluded there was scope for further tightening of the monetary policy to anchor inflation expectations. To this end, the Central Bank Rate (CBR) was moved up by 100bps to 10.50%.
